Dilios' (David Wenham) screen-matched Spartan shield from Zack Snyder's 300. Dilios, one of King Leonidas' (Gerard Butler) most trusted soldiers and the film's narrator, carried his shield when the Spartans faced off against the forces of Persian King Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro), a battle from which only he among the Spartans would emerge alive. This shield screen-matches based on the position of the nicks and dents to when he delivered Leonidas's necklace to Queen Gorgo (Lena Headey) at the end of the movie.

This fiberglass shield features a foam core, a leather-bound grip, and a leather arm strap, attached to the back. It was painted bronze-color and the surface was intentionally pitted by production to give the resemblance of well-aged, hand-worked metal. Production intentionally distressed the shield further with dents and other damage to give it a battle-worn appearance. This lot exhibits chipped and flaked paint. Dimensions: 35" x 35" x 8" (89 cm x 89 cm x 20 cm)
