'Operation Rising Dawn' Map

Stock #93612

”It all makes sense. They're executing code red. Step 1: Kill the infected. Step 2: Containment. If containment fails, then Step 3: Extermination.”

An ‘Operation Rising Dawn’ map from Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s 2007 drama horror sequel 28 Weeks Later.

Six months after the rage virus was inflicted on the population of Great Britain, the US Army helps to secure a small area of London for the survivors to repopulate and start again. But not everything goes according to plan.

This map and others like it were made for the production and can be seen on the walls of military command centre. The paper map is of mainland Britain, showing areas of survivors (in red) and areas the army will expand into (in blue). The map has some wear from production use, age and storage. It has some water damage that has made the ink run around Cornwall, small holes and tears, remnants of sticky tape where it was previously attached to a wall, and it has been roughly folded into eighths. Overall it remains in a fair, production-used condition.

Materials: Paper.
