'Restricted Area' Warning Poster

Stock #101166

”Look, if someone gets infected you’ve got between ten and twenty seconds to kill them. It might be your brother, or your sister, or your oldest friends. It makes no difference. And just so you know where you stand, if it happens to you, I’ll do it in a heartbeat.”

A ‘Restricted Area’ warning poster made for Danny Boyle’s 2002 horror film 28 Days Later.

Jim (Cillian Murphy) wakes up in a deserted hospital four weeks after an incurable virus has spread through the UK, turning its inhabitants into rage-fuelled killing machines.

This poster and others like it were made for the production and can be seen in the background quite early on in the film in the London scenes. The red, white and black coloured government notice is warning people away from the away, with the threat of deadly force being used if they do not comply.

This piece shows very little wear from production use and age, such as some minor curling of the corners, but despite this it remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
