Dr. Walter Curnow's (John Lithgow) jumpsuit from Peter Hyams' 2010: The Year We Make Contact. Sent to investigate the fate of Discovery 1, Curnow wore his standard-issue jumpsuit throughout the film.

This gray polyester jumpsuit features 10 metal zippers; an American flag patch sewn onto the right sleeve; a Western Costume Co. tag numbered "2995 2" and marked for "John Lithgow"; and metal grommets down the back, possibly for affixing a harness or wires. Though the jumpsuit is labeled for the principal actor, it is believed to be a production backup, as there is no evidence of the sleeve patches seen in the film having been attached. It exhibits some fraying and staining.
