A collection of production images and documents from Peter Hyams’ 1984 Sci-fi Adventure 2010: The Year We Make Contact.
The collection includes numerous different pieces of production ephemera devised by individuals who worked on the film. There are several hand-drawn sketches of spaceships, logos and devices. There are also transparent sheets that depict other logo, lettering and slogan designs for the film. Also included are various handwritten notes for certain props; pieces of production artwork; statistics; diagrams; graphics; photographs; and other production-used documents. Some of the wording is in English, other parts are in Russian.
Some of the documents show signs of wear, tear, crumpling and burns that have accumulated over time through storage and use. The majority of the documents are in very good condition.
