A scarce lenticular poster for the release of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey. It was rare for lenticulars to be produced in the 1960s. MGM and Kubrick wanted to create an advanced advertising campaign that included unique formats, with this lenticular being one of the most impressive pieces created. It was produced exclusively for the limited cinemas with Cinerama widescreen format capability. This 10.25" x 13.5" postcard-like example features the Style B design of the "Man on the Moon" imagery of astronauts working with their equipment and exploring the surface of the Moon by artist Robert McCall.

The poster displays some hairline scratches and remains in a very fine condition. Dimensions: 26 cm x 34 cm (10.25" x 13.5")
