An original 1968 Style B US One-Sheet poster for Stanley Kubrick's groundbreaking sci-fi spectacle "2001: A Space Odyssey". Issued in two styles both featuring Robert McCall artwork: the "Space-Wheel" and, as offered here, the "Man on the Moon" style with an illustration highlighting astronauts working with their equipment and exploring the surface of the Moon. This version is for the 70mm release and is stamped as such on the reverse. Originally folded, the poster is presented in unrestored, folded (as issued) condition with minor signs of handling and age wear. Overall it still presents to a very good effect with McCall's lunar landscape and astronaut imagery particularly impressive. (Provenance: The Personal Collection of Bryan Fuller)

Condition: Good to Very Good

Unrestored, folded (as issued). Presented in good condition with strong, bright colours. Minor fold line and age wear with tiny paper loss (pinhole size) to top crossfold and scattered pinholes (some enlarged) to border areas. To reverse there are areas of paper left and two repaired tears (1/2" & 2") to top edge.
