Archive booklets, screening booklets, photos, a poster, and a "2001 in 2008 Academy Presentation" DVD from Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey from the collection of special photographic effects artist Douglas Trumbull. It consists of a "2001: The Lost Science" archive booklet by Adam K. Johnson; a folded Exhibitor's Campaign Book from MGM; a Cinefex "2001: A Space Odyssey" film archive booklet; six screening booklets from MGM and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences; two color print photo strips; two black-and-white photos marked "Found in a dumpsite England"; a folded film poster; and a DVD marked "2001 in 2008 Academy Presentation Doug Trumbull and Tom Hanks May 21, 2008" with an envelope from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences with a letter signed by Randy Haberkamp and personal note to Trumbull and nine color print photos. This lot exhibits fold creases, discoloration, and loose pages in the MGM screening booklet.
