A pair of Charles Knode's costume bibles from Ridley Scott's 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Charles Knode was a prolific costume designer known for his work in Blade Runner, Braveheart, Legend, and other media. He received an Academy Award® nomination for Braveheart, and won three BAFTA awards for Best Costume Design. He often collaborated with director Ridley Scott, well known for his concentrated visual style in film making.
This lot consists of two binders, a blue one containing 52 pages of detailed hand-written costume notes and continuity photos; and a red one containing 31 pages of detailed hand-written costume notes and continuity photos. Both spines are hand-labeled as "Colon", with the blue binder featuring an additional label hand-written as "Continuity Colom." This lot exhibits creasing, discoloration, and wear to the binders.
