A hero Wendol priest costume from the 1999 John McTiernan directed action/adventure film, The 13th Warrior. In the film, Ahmed Ibn Fahdlan (Antonio Banderas) is an exiled Arab ambassador who encounters a band of Norse warriors he is destined to join.

This costume is one of the hero outfits made for the Wendol characters. The costume features a skirt made from synthetic black animal fur. Attached to this is a leather belt that is woven into the waistline of the fur, and ties together to hold in place. Included with this costume is a painted skull helmet which is detailed with red paint, and has long strands of dyed hair along with animal fur that drapes down the back and sides. On the inside of the helmet are leather straps for the head and chin.
Please note that this costume was custom made and does not feature any sizing information. There is also minor wear from production use including a missing fang on the skull helmet, however this item remains in overall good production used condition.
