Time Auction FAQ
Q: What are Propstore Auctions?
A. Propstore Auctions offers fans and collectors the opportunity to own an original prop or costume that is made available in partnership with the relative studio or production company. Each Propstore Auction will present a collection of material from a single source, such as a recently released film.
Q: How are Propstore Auctions different to Propstore’s standard offerings?
A. Propstore Auctions makes material available through the auction model where prices are determined by bidding activity. This is a separate element of Propstore, outside of our fixed-price sale offerings. Auction items are not available for direct sale at fixed price, they are only available via the auction. Propstore will continue to offer material for sale on the fixed-price model, as seen on our product listing pages such as “New Additions.”
Q. How do I participate in the auction?
A. All interested bidders must register on the auction platform (https://propstore.auctionserver.net/signup/) and await approval. You must have a valid credit card to verify your account. Your Propstore log in will not be valid.
Q. Where do I sign up?

Q. My Propstore credentials do not work for the auction.
A. A separate account is required for the auction platform.
Q. When does each lot end?
Each day’s lots have staggered end times from 5pm BST (London time). If any bids are placed within the final 2 minutes of the auction the duration is automatically extended by 2 more minutes.
Q. In what currency is the auction run?
A. As this auction is being held at the London office all transactions and invoices will be in GBP£.
Q. Will there be any premiums added to the hammer price?
A. A Buyers Premium of 15% will be added to all winning bids.
For all customers within the EU, VAT (Sales Tax) will be charged on the invoice total at the prevailing rate (currently 20%).
Shipping will be calculated and added using our preferred shipper FedEx.
Q: When will I receive my invoice?
A. Invoices will be sent from Monday 14th July to ensure all bidders have the opportunity to combine shipping on lots won on different days. If you require your invoice earlier than this please contact auction@propstore.com
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. Visa, Mastercard and American Express and wire transfer.
Paypal is not accepted.
Q. Are you offering Payment Plans for auction wins?
A. Payment plans over a maximum of 3 months are available for any lots with a final hammer price of over £100. Terms and Conditions apply.
Q. Do you ship worldwide?
A. Yes. Email shipping@propstore.com for a quote on any lots you are interested in.
Q. Can I combine shipping?
A. We are happy to combine all auction wins into one shipment.
Q. Can you declare my package at a low value to avoid import duty charges?
A. Propstore must declare all packages at their full value, and the buyer will be responsible for all of the import duties and taxes charged by their local government.
