Props
-
The filmmaking process requires that multiples be made of all principal props and costumes. This is standard practice for a variety of production and continuity reasons. First and foremost, filmmaking is an expensive process. A production cannot risk unnecessary delays due to having the only copy of a prop or costume damaged on set, so they produce multiple copies. Multiple versions may also be required for continuity purposes. For instance, a particular garment may need to be distressed as the story progresses. Different versions of a garment may exist so it can be filmed out of sequence, and the story's continuity remain intact once the film is edited and put together.
Props are frequently made in a variety of different versions. There is typically a hero or beauty prop for close-up shots. These tend to be better materials, whereas lightweight versions are also made for stunt and safety work that usually don't need to hold up to close visual scrutiny. In other cases, props may need to have various functionality to them. These special effects props may have moving parts (i.e., a retractable blade for a "stabbing" sword or knife) or working electronics.
Different takes of the same scene may also utilize different examples of a prop or costume, meaning a piece could have been shot but still not make it to the final cut. Because production items are almost always used in multiples during a production, it is not always possible to guarantee a particular item is seen in the final cut of a film or show.
In some cases, it may be possible to provide further evidence about the use of an individual item based on matching "tells" on the item to what's on-screen, or based on other relevant information. We call these items "screen-matched." If we believe an item to be screen-matched, we will include that information in the description and often in the title of the lot.
Propstore's inventory is guaranteed to be originals from the production unless otherwise stated. Our inventory comes from film studios, production companies, wardrobe and prop suppliers, special effects houses, other industry sources, and established private collectors. Every item has been carefully researched as thoroughly as possible and has met our internal standards of authenticity. Please see the specific Guarantee of Attribution within the Terms & Conditions of the auction for more on this.
-
Most props and costumes were created for use within a production and to endure the wear and tear of the filming process. They are rarely created to withstand heavy or repeated use. Many sustain damage during the filming process. Sometimes this adds to their story/history. Sometimes this detracts from their value. Generally speaking, an item in better condition will be more valuable than an item in a damaged state. However, even damaged items may have value depending on the item, the production, and the amount/type of damage.

Scale reference photos are the final images in the photo set for all product listings. This allows our customers to envision the size of the piece being offered more accurately.

We call these items "screen-matched." If we believe an item to be screen-matched, we will include that information in the description and often in the title of the lot. Again, even if we do not refer to an item as "screen-matched", that does not that does not imply that that item is a backup or alternate rather than a screen-used prop - it only indicates that a 100% match cannot be effectively determined.

We do not wash or treat the items we offer. We may remove dust or perform minor sympathetic restoration if an item is in critical condition to stabilize it.
-
Posters
-
Yes, everything is original. If a poster is a re-release or a limited edition print, this will be detailed, otherwise, it can be assumed that the items offered are all original first release posters.
All items sold through Propstore's auctions are authenticated and certified with our industry-leading Certificate of Authenticity and its accompanying lifetime guarantee of attribution.
-
Yes, the poster artwork offered is original and will be detailed either as "prototype" or "finished" artwork.
-
Many posters were issued pre-folded. We detail whether a poster is folded or unfolded and when a folded poster has subsequently been rolled.
-
Where posters have been backed, we detail this and determine whether the posters have been linen or paper-backed. Conservation backing is an industry-accepted procedure that preserves posters and adds value.
-
Each poster is examined individually, and where restoration is apparent, this is mentioned in the cataloging. We cannot evaluate the restoration quality undertaken, but we always strive to offer posters in the best and most presentable condition possible.
-
We provide a basic grading system ("Excellent," "Good," "Fair," and "Poor"). Furthermore, we catalog the condition of each poster, and where there are material faults, we highlight these. Each poster is photographed front/back, and we provide additional images to show any significant faults. Potential buyers may also visit and examine posters in person by appointment. We aim to be as helpful and transparent about the condition as possible so that our clients can buy with confidence.
-
Artwork, Production Materials & Other Memorabilia
-
We sell hand-drawn artwork as well as production copies of artwork. We note whether a piece of artwork is hand-drawn or a production copy in the item's description.
-
Most artwork does not come pre-framed. If a piece of artwork is pre-framed, it will be seen in photos and noted in the description.
-
Typically, flat, unframed production artwork is bagged, boarded, and put in a cardboard stay-flat and sandwiched between additional cardboard for extra protection during transit. These pieces are shipped in a flat box.
Non-folded posters are shipped rolled in a tube and placed in a box for additional protection.

Auction
-
Auction Overview
-
Propstore regularly holds two different types of auctions: Live Auctions and timed Online Auctions.
-
Propstore's Live Auctions are held as live events in real time with bidding activity in person in addition to via telephone, our online bidding platform, and written absentee bids. Live Auctions feature an auctioneer and a real-time livestream. Live Auctions are predominantly multi-consignor sales offering memorabilia from a variety of entertainment titles.
Propstore's timed Online Auctions offer memorabilia via an online auction catalog and online bidding platform, with bidding open for a set duration of time. Online Auctions predominantly offer props, costumes, artwork, and behind-the-scenes memorabilia from single titles, such as a popular film or television show. These auctions are frequently conducted in conjunction with a world-renowned studio, production company, or Hollywood luminary.
All items sold through Propstore's auctions are authenticated and certified with our industry-leading Certificate of Authenticity and its accompanying lifetime guarantee of attribution.
-
Propstore continues to expand both its live and online offerings to capitalize on the blossoming collectible auction market. Between 2020 and 2021, Propstore held 11 Live Auctions and 15 timed Online Auctions, more than ever in its 23-year history.
-
Propstore auctions make memorabilia available through the auction model, where prices are determined by bidding activity. Memorabilia sold is this way is only available via the auction, and not by direct purchase.
Memorabilia on Propstore's Buy Now platform, also known as "Daily Listings" or "Fixed Price" memorabilia, are only available for direct purchase. They cannot be purchased via an auction.
-
Live Auctions: once registered for a Live Auction, bids may be placed in four ways: in person, via telephone bids, absentee bids, or online bids.
Telephone Bidding: Telephone bids are made by calling Propstore directly in real-time during the run of a live auction. To register to make a telephone bid, visit the landing page for each live auction, and click "Register for Phone Bidding". Download and complete the digital form, then return it to auction@propstore.com. After doing so, you will receive an email confirming your registration and pending approval to start bidding by telephone.
Absentee Bidding: Absentee bids are bids made in advance of a Live Auction for anyone unable to participate in the auction in real-time. To register to make an absentee bid, visit the landing page for each live auction, and click "Register for Absentee Bidding". Download and complete the digital form, then return it to auction@propstore.com. After doing so, you will receive an email confirming your registration and pending approval to start bidding via the online catalog.
Online Bidding: Online bids are made via the Propstore website both in advance of and in real-time during each Live Auction. Advance bidders enter a single maximum bid, after which the bidding can only advance if someone else bids against and above that bid. Bidders can watch the auctioneer on the livestream in order to place online bids in real-time. Bids placed in advance will compete with live bidders on the day of the auction. To register to bid online, visit the landing page for each live auction, and click "Register to Bid Online". Fill out the digital form and click SIGNUP. After doing so, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration and pending approval to start bidding.
Online Auctions: For Online Auctions, all bids must be placed online. As with many other auction sites, our online bidders can place bids at any time throughout the auction beginning with the first day of bidding and concluding on the final day of sale. This method allows bidders to place and increase their max bids at any time, and on any computer or smart device, over the run of the auction. To register to bid online, visit the landing page for each online auction, and click "Register to Bid Online". Fill out the digital form and click SIGNUP. After doing so, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration and pending approval to start bidding.
-
After completing registering for either Telephone, Absentee, or Online Bidding, you will receive an automated email confirming your registration and pending approval to start bidding. Bidders are approved manually, so you may not be able to start bidding instantly. But rest assured: approvals are typically ready to bid within one (1) business day.
-
Absentee bids must be received at least 24 hours before the sale of the lot(s).
Telephone bidders must be registered 24 hours before the sale of the lot(s).
Online bids can be placed before the auction begins, as well as in real-time as each lot crosses the auction block. The auction will begin promptly at the posted start time and lots will be sold in numerical order.
The pacing can be quick, so please arrive to the livestream early to ensure you do not miss the lot you are interested in.
-
We have recently merged all auction and buy now accounts, utilising the email address supplied on the account. To access your account you may need to reset your password.

Please note that refunds will be issued in the native currency and converted back to the cryptocurrency using the rate at the time of the refund.
-
Propstore allows auction winnings to be paid off via consignment credit on select occasions in which the winning bidder's account is in good standing. Bidders interested in paying off auction winnings via consignment credit should contact Propstore's Director of Consignments, Art Andrews, at art@propstore.com.
-
Unfortunately, as per our Terms & Conditions, all auction bids are final and legally binding, even if made by accident. Take extreme caution before placing a bid on a lot.
-
All upcoming and past auctions, as well as their catalogs, can be viewed at propstoreauction.com.
-
At propstoreauction.com, select the past auction you are interested in to be directed to that auction's original landing page. From there, click the button labeled "Browse Auction Results" to see the results of that auction.
-
Propstore produces a limited amount of printed catalogs for every live auction. To purchase one, visit propstoreauction.com, find the auction you are interested in, and click the thumbnail. You will be directed to that auction's landing page, where you have the option to "Buy Printed Catalog".
Online and downloadable PDF versions are available for each previous catalog at propstoreauction.com.

-
Propstore's CA Bond number for auctions held in Los Angeles is: 72BSBGU4116.
-
Live Auction
-
Propstore's Summer Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auctions are held in our Los Angeles office. Our Fall Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auctions are held in either our London office or a unique venue in London. Both events are also live-streamed at propstore.com throughout the run of the auction.
-
Unless otherwise stated, all auctions are open to in-person bidding.
Individual tours of the Los Angeles and London offices are available by appointment only in advance of each live auction. To arrange a tour of the Los Angeles office, call (818) 727-7829 or e-mail us at auction@propstore.com. To arrange a tour of the London office, call +44 (0) 1494-766485 or e-mail us at auction@propstore.com.
-
Propstore reserves the right to remove any lot from the auction if at any point it considers the listing misrepresentative of the lot. Lots may be removed from the auction after the release of the catalog for a variety of reason, including but not limited to: more research is needed to confirm the lot's authenticity; the lot's condition has changed since its original listing; the lot requires additional parts or repairs to be functional.
-
In some cases, unsold lots from Live Auctions are offered as "Last Chance" purchases in the days following the auctions. When an unsold lot becomes available for "Last Chance" purchasing, a purple button labeled "Make an Offer" will appear on the online listing the day after the auction concludes. "Make an Offer" purchasing conclude within two (2) to three (3) weeks after each Live Auction, depending on each particular lot.
-
Absentee bids can be placed anytime after bidding is opened on the Propstore website and before the live component of the auction has begun. Once the live component has begun, final bids must be placed in real time until the auctioneer drops the hammer.
-
Timed Auction
-
No. In-person attendance or viewing is not available for Propstore's online auctions. However, if you have any questions about items that you'd like to bid on, please e-mail us at auction@propstore.com to arrange a one-on-one video session.
-
It is standard practice for costumes to be custom-tailored to suit specific performers by productions. As a result, wardrobe items from films and television rarely adhere to commercial sizes.
-
For each lot, you will notice a countdown clock. The countdown clock shows how much time is still available for bidding on that lot. Each lot is scheduled to close at a different time through the course of the last day of the auction.
If any bid is placed within the final five (5) minutes of the Auction Period, the Auction Period will automatically be extended by five (5) additional minutes. Once the countdown clock reaches "0," bidding will end, and the lot will be closed.
Please note that while the timer may reflect that the remaining Auction Period is "0," the Auction Period has not necessarily concluded because it has been extended by a bid made within the last minute. It is the bidder's responsibility to refresh the page to determine whether the Auction Period has been extended.
In any event, the Auction Period for any lot shall not be deemed completed until it states "Closed." Please also refrain from attempting to snipe bid, as doing so only adds more time for other bidders to counter your bid on the lot.
-
Buy Now
-
Our BUY NOW platform is a fixed-price sales channel on which we offer items on a first-come-first-served basis. Unlike our auction platform, the buyer is not competing with other potential buyers and there is no Buyer's Premium added to the price of the item.
-
We list many new items every day! See our latest additions here.
-
Our items can be reserved on a payment plan. An item which has been claimed by a buyer but has yet to be fully paid for is marked as "Reserved." Once the item has been fully paid, it is marked as "Sold."
-
Sometimes we have multiple examples of an item. While you have purchased a copy, we have additional examples to sell.
-
Yes! All of the items we sell are authentic and most are original movie memorabilia. We do sell high-end replicas from time to time and will note that they are replicas in the title and/or description.

-
Our BUY NOW listings contain image galleries and comprehensive written descriptions.
We strive to include all the relevant information we have available in each description to assist you in making a purchasing decision. There is no information we can provide that is not already in the description.

What happens if I accidentally throw away or misplace a Certificate Of Authenticity (COA)? Can I get a new one?
Propstore COAs are a vital component of any artifact's history and authenticity and should be stored with great care. Sadly, due to the opportunity for fraudulent activity, COAs cannot be reprinted under any circumstances.

BUY NOW/Fixed Price Purchases from the Website:
All we ask is a 20% non-refundable down payment on your credit card. After that, you're free to settle your balance with agreed monthly payments over the following two to three months. When you've made all your payments, your dream acquisition will be shipped right to your door.
Simply head to the checkout and select our "Payment Plan" option. Then, you can choose the time period that you would like.
It's that easy.
The length of plan permitted is based on the following spend thresholds:
up to 3 months – minimum spend $/£800Should you decide to cancel the plan, any funds in your account beyond the initial non-refundable, non-transferable 20% deposit can only be used as a store credit. No cash refunds will be provided. Store credit can only be used in the Propstore office (London or Los Angeles) at which the payment plan was taken and may not be transferred to any other existing payment plan. In the event of a cancellation, the 20% deposit is absolutely non-refundable and non-transferable to other products.
Auction/Post-Auction Purchases:
Payment plans will be available in 1, 2, or 3-month increments on any invoice over $/£1000 unless otherwise specified on the individual lot. Bidders wishing to utilize the payment plan service, if approved by Propstore, will be responsible for paying a 20% deposit on their Lots within 7 calendar days of receiving their invoice. The balance will then be split over 1, 2, or 3 months per the Buyer’s selection, taken on the 8th of each subsequent month. -
There are no additional fees, charges or interest for taking advantage of Propstore's payment plans and you can settle up at any time.
Please note that should you cancel a payment plan the 20% deposit is non-refundable, and Auction orders cannot be cancelled.

As Propstore has an international client base, approximate conversion rates are used to provide a price that customers in different countries can more easily relate to. The price of the item will be charged in the native currency for the country in which the item is located (that is, British pounds sterling or U.S. dollars).
To clarify, an item that is in inventory at the London office will be charged in GBP, regardless of where the customer is located. An item that is in inventory at the Los Angeles office will be charged in USD, again regardless of the customer's location.
-
For items located in London, UK
All £ prices include sales tax (VAT) of 20.00% applicable to any purchases made by clients within the UK or NI, unless denoted by an "M" indicating it is sold under the margin scheme for collector's items; no VAT is due to except to clients within NI.All $ prices are exclusive of VAT, although clients in some US States may be required to pay sales tax on their order following the Wayfair ruling; these will be calculated at checkout.
All € prices are exclusive of VAT.
Some US states may be required to pay sales tax on their order following the Wayfair ruling; these will be calculated at checkout.
All conversions presented are approximate. You will be charged in UK Sterling (GBP£).
For items located in Los Angeles, USA

I have completed the ordering process but have not received a confirmation email yet. Has my order gone through?

The London office charges all orders in GBP, and the Los Angeles office charges all orders in USD. If your credit card account is not of the same form of currency, a currency conversion will be performed by your credit card company, at the rate they are offering at the time. Shipping
-
Every item in the Propstore inventory is unique and requires our team to take the utmost care and attention to enure they reach you safely. For most items a shipping quote can be obtained by using our shipping calculator and entering the destination. For some items a custom quote might be required due to its size or fragility. For these particular items the calculator will let you know that a member of the team will be in touch with a bespoke quote as soon as possible.
-
Yes, we can ship to almost anywhere in the world!
-
Once your order has been paid for in full, it will be passed to our in-house shipping team for careful packing and dispatch. This typically takes 1-2 business days, but may take longer for auction orders. You will automatically receive a tracking number as soon as it leaves us.
-
Items which are classified as oversized will travel with our select group of private couriers, typically Precision Cargo (UK) and PackAir (USA). If you are interested in an oversized item please get in touch with us so that we may work with our preferred partners to get a quote prepared for you.
-
Propstore has inventory in both our London (UK) and Los Angeles (USA) locations. If your order contains items from both our London store and our Los Angeles store, then the order will be split into two separate orders: the London items will be charged and shipped from the London office; the Los Angeles items will be charged and shipped from the Los Angeles office.
-
In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, please retain all packaging and any broken pieces and contact us through shipping@propstore.com as soon as possible. If you opted to ship your order via an insured service, we can only submit a claim on your behalf if all packaging is retained.
-
Propstore is happy to work with you to arrange your own shipping, simply select "pick up in person" as your shipping address during the checkout process and advise us in the comments that you would like to use your own carrier. If you would like our shipping team to prepare the order for dispatch (such as packing) a fee will apply. Please note that local taxes/VAT will be applied to all collected items (VAT in UK and CA Sales Tax in USA).
-
All items shipped using Propstore's own shipping service can be fully insured and this option can be selected during checkout. On high-value orders, a custom insurance quote may be necessary - you will be advised during checkout if this is the case and a member of the team will be in touch with the costs.
-
Of course, we love meeting our customers in person! Simply select "pick up in person" as your shipping address during the checkout process and a member of the shipping team will liaise with you to arrange a suitable time to collect. Please note that local taxes/VAT will be applied to all collected items (VAT in UK and CA Sales Tax in USA).
-
If you need to change your order's final destination, please contact us through support@propstore.com as soon as possible with the order number(s) the change applies to. Please note that there may be additional shipping charges and updated tax/VAT implications.
-
Propstore can combine any number of orders regardless of how they were purchased. Please write in the comments of any subsequent order which original order you would like it shipped with. The team will be in touch if there are any adjustments that need to be made to the shipping charges.
-
Propstore must legally declare all packages at their full value, and the buyer will be responsible for all of the import duties and taxes charged by their local government. We have spent a great deal of time researching harmonization (import & export duty tariff rates) codes, and use the most accurate harmonization codes to insure our packages pass through customs with as minimal duty and delay as possible. However, it is ultimately the customer's responsibility to be aware of their own import costs.
-
Sold Archive
-
Propstore's Sold Archive lists some of the previous sales made through both our auctions and Buy Now platform. The Archive is designed to offer potential customers, partners, and consignors alike a more transparent look at the memorabilia-collecting industry. Visitors to the Archive can see what kinds of memorabilia are typically sold at Propstore, what their typical price points are, and when each lot was sold. Additionally, visitors can search for props and costumes from their favorite film and TV franchises, as well as pictures taken by Propstore's in-house photography team.
-
No. While Propstore regularly updates its Sold Archive with new sales, the Archive only represents a portion of previous lots. This is due to several factors, including but not limited to privacy agreements with buyers, bidders, and consignors; revised or altered lots; and relists of previously sold items on the Buy Now platform or in an upcoming auction.
-
No. The products listed in the Sold Archives are already purchased and are no longer available.
-
How can I tell if a piece in the Sold Archive section was originally sold in an auction or on the Buy Now platform?
Lots on the Sold Archive can be sorted as "Auction items only" or as "Fixed price items only" (referring to items purchased on the Buy Now platform) by clicking the button in the section labeled "Auction:". The button also includes a tab labeled "Auction & Fixed Price items", which includes every item in the Archive.
-
Lots on the Sold Archive can be sorted by sale date by clicking the "Newest First" button in the "Sort by" section. Additionally, listings for lots sold at one of Propstore's auctions will include the dates in which that specific auction ran.
-
No. The final prices of auction lots listed in the Sold Archive are those lots' hammer prices before the Buyer's Premiums are included.

We hold two Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auctions per year, one in the late spring/summer (roughly around June) and one in the fall (roughly around November). We also hold two Cinema Poster Live Auctions twice annually in the spring and fall (roughly around March and September).
-
Yes. The consignor is responsible for all fees associated with shipping the item to us.
-
After an auction, we quickly send out invoices to our buyers. You are paid as we are paid. Please note, our buyers may choose to pay immediately or may choose to pay over a 3-payment plan which lasts a total of approximately four months. If the buyer selects a payment plan, you will still be paid incrementally as we receive payment from the buyer. Please note; we do not ship an item to the buyer until they have fully paid for it.
-
Sometimes. We offer cash advances, but these are determined on a case-by-case basis. Our consignor portal is still a work-in-progress, but we are happy to answer any questions you have regarding your current consignments. Please feel free to email us at consign@propstore.com with questions.
-
Either! While we host one auction in London and the other in Los Angeles, our buyers are worldwide and do not discriminate. The successful auction of your item is equal regardless of which auction it appears in.

We have a standard consignment rate. It is our only fee for sellers! To learn more, please fill out our free, no-obligation valuation form today and let us give you our thoughts on what your item may be worth in the current market: https://propstore.com/sellOrConsign.action#valuation
-
Our Seller's commission is the fee we charge to the Seller for our services. This fee is a percentage of the "hammer price," which is the price upon which the auctioneer's hammer falls.
-
Our Buyer's Premium is the fee added to the "hammer price," which is the price upon which the auctioneer's hammer falls. Our Buyer's Premium is 25%.
-
While we have a spectacular sell-through rate, from time to time an item does not sell in auction. However, that is not the end of your opportunity! After each auction, we place items that have not sold on our website as "second chance opportunities." While unsold items are listed this way, we accept offers from potential buyers and pass those offers on to you for approval. If we get no offers on an unsold item during this period, we can offer the item via our website's BUY NOW platform at a fixed price. Unsold items may be returned to the consignor at the consignor's expense.
-
Before accepting your consignment, we must conduct a thorough in-hand review to confirm authenticity and valuation. Once our review is complete, we offer three options for bringing your item to the market:
Option #1: Consign to our Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auction (EMLA).
Twice a year, we hold massive auctions (one in the spring in the US and one in the fall in the UK), which garner a tremendous amount of media attention and thousands of potential buyers. If you want the best possible chance for a more significant financial return, this is your best option. However, because we only hold these auctions twice a year, you may have to wait some time before we can sell your item.Option #2: Consign to our Fixed Price (BUY NOW) system.
Once we agree on a sales price, we list your item on our website at that price. This option is suitable for items in the $/£750-1,500 range.Option #3: Sell to Us.
We may be willing to purchase your item directly. However, as this places all of the risks on us, this option is likely to net you the smallest return. This option is good if you need money NOW and don't want to wait for option #1 or #2. -
Our consignment process is very straightforward. It starts with you submitting our free, no-obligation valuation form with the items you are interested in selling: https://propstore.com/sellOrConsign.action#valuation
We will reply with an evaluation of the items we believe we can help you sell, including reserves and provisional auction estimates.
Once we agree on reserves/estimates, you will send the items in, and we will perform an in-hand assessment and prepare your items for auction.
Once your item sells at auction and the buyer pays us, we pay you, minus our Seller's commission.
Have more questions? Submit a valuation form via the link above, and let's talk!

While we take in new items for our Buy Now platform, it is rare that we accept consignments for it (as you are more likely to get the best return from our auction platform.) Maybe! We rarely sell fan-made replicas, but we may be able to help you sell high-end collectible reproductions. Doubtful. We sell props, costumes, and production items from the entertainment industry. We do not sell vintage or historical artifacts. Still not sure? It never hurts to ask! Please fill out our free, no-obligation valuation form today and let us give you our thoughts on whether or not we can help you sell it: https://propstore.com/sellOrConsign.action#valuation
-
Most likely, not. While a COA (Certificate of Authenticity) from a studio or an LOA (Letter of Authenticity) from a production member is always great to have and can increase the value of an item, in most cases, they are not necessary. Not sure about your item that doesn't have a COA? Please fill out our free, no-obligation valuation form today and let us give you our thoughts on whether or not we can help you sell it: https://propstore.com/sellOrConsign.action#valuation
-
The lack of history/provenance may be a problem, but this is a case-by-case issue. While a known chain of custody or history is always preferable, not knowing the history of an item isn't necessarily a problem. Not sure of your item's history? Please fill out our free, no-obligation valuation form today and let us give you our thoughts on whether or not we can help you sell it: https://propstore.com/sellOrConsign.action#valuation

All items consigned to Propstore will be insured for the agreed low estimate while on site with us. Depending on the value of the consignment, transit insurance may be subject to an additional cost but will be discussed with you prior to shipping.

Propstore does not offer customized displays, but we can recommend a number of trusted vendors who can create displays for a variety of props and costumes. Please reach out to support@propstore.com for a complete list of vendors.
-
Production-made props and costumes require diligent preservation in order to retain their quality and value over the years. Upon purchasing a collectible from Propstore, be sure to unpack and unwrap it carefully, as our Shipping team has packed it in the safest possible way for storage. Once removed from its packaging, store the collectible in a climate-controlled area away from extreme temperatures, open sunlight, water, or wind. Create distance between the collectible and any other props or costumes, as different materials and fabrics can have adverse effects on one another. Should your collectible suffer any damage, contact a professional restoration service or archive for tips on how to repair the collectible without creating additional problems. Continue to monitor your collectible regularly for any signs of degradation or damage. Using these strategies, many props and costumes can retain their quality and value over many years.

No, at this time we do not offer appraisal services, however we are always happy to evaluate items to be included in our auctions and hold valuation days throughout the year.
