X2: X-Men United

White House Chandelier

Stock #13785

"There was so much shooting, such fear and then there was only pain. I could see it all happening, but I couldn't stop myself. It was like a bad dream. Perhaps he is testing me."

A White House chandelier from Bryan Singer's 2003 action sci-fi film X2: X-Men United.

When anti-mutant Colonel William Stryker (Brian Cox) kidnaps Professor X (Patrick Stewart) and attacks his school, the X-Men must ally with their archenemy Magneto (Ian McKellen) to stop him.

Chandeliers were hung from ceilings as set decoration during scenes in which the acrobatic Nightcrawler (Alan Cumming) infiltrated the White House in an attempt to assassinate the President of the United States in the name of mutant freedom. The chandelier is hung by metal chains, it features twelve light fixtures which resemble candles, a glass basket and a metal leaf pattern throughout. It is powered with a US power lead. The chandelier shows wear from production use and storage with many of the metal leaf decorations and candle light fixtures being damaged or bent. The item remains in an otherwise good condition.
