A cover of the last will and testament of Mrs Alice Drablow (Alisa Khazanova) from James Watkins’ 2012 horror The Woman in Black.
The film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.
This cover and others like it were made for the film and appear near the beginning, as Arthur is being told of his task by his boss, Mr Bentley (Roger Allam). They discuss the will and the details of Mrs Drablow’s estate.
This cover features information about the deceased, has a stamped reference number, and is dated ‘12/2/1872’. Made of beige card, the cover does not feature the will inside or the black lace used to hold it together as seen in the film.
The piece has no visible wear from production use and remains in an excellent condition.
