A set of child’s hands and feet from James Watkins’ 2012 period horror The Woman in Black.
The film follows young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.
The hands and feet come in a dirtied state, indicating that they may have been intended for the scene where Arthur and Mr. Bentley (Roger Allam) head to the marshlands and discover the body of Nathaniel.
The hands and feet are made from moulded rubber which have been finished in skin colours and displays a skin-like texture. Metal armatures protrude from the feet, showing that the limbs would have been attached to a body. Back and brown paint have been sporadically applied to each piece producing a dirtied worn appearance.
Intentionally distressed, the set shows minor wear and a toe of one of the feet has broken way and has split in two. However, the item remains in overall very good condition.
Materials: Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
