Woman in Black, The

Arthur Kipps' (Daniel Radcliffe) Prototype Drawing Book Gift

Stock #55812

A prototype diary gift used in the production of James Watkins’ 2012 horror-drama, The Woman In Black. The film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.

This diary gift was created during pre-production, to be given to Arthur Kipps by his son Joseph (Misha Handley) at the beginning of the film, however the design of the front page was ultimately superseded for use in the final cut of the film. The piece was made to be used to mark the days between Arthur leaving for Crythin Gifford and when Joseph would see him again. The diary is made up of four paper pages tied together with green velvet ribbon. Each page has a crayon-drawn image beginning with Tuesday and ending on Friday. Lightly used in the making of the Hammer horror film, this piece remains in excellent production-used condition.

This prop is an original asset used in the production of the 2012 film The Woman In Black. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
