A doll used in the production of Tom Harper’s 2015 horror-drama, The Woman In Black 2: Angel Of Death. The sequel takes place forty years on from the original haunting at Eel Marsh House. A group of children are evacuated from World War II London and ultimately awaken the house's dark, ghostly inhabitant.
This doll would have been carried by Edward (Oaklee Pendergast) after he first discovers it in Eel Marsh House nursery. The doll is dressed in a navy sailor’s uniform with a white collar and cap. There are brown leather gloves and boots that are slightly stuffed for the doll’s hands and feet. The doll’s face, arms and calves are made from porcelain and the body is a sand bag. The face is deliberately distressed for production use to make it look old and aged. The doll remains in excellent production-used condition and measures approximately 34cm x 14cm x 6cm (13.5” x 5.5” x 2.5”).
