Laurent Durieux has created a "world of imagination" in this beautifully dreamy print for the original 1971 fantasy Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. The factory's magical chocolate room forms the majority of the design, with Charlie, Willy Wonka and Grandpa Joe in the lower right corner sharing a pensive moment. A fun edition is Violet Beauregarde inflated as a human blueberry floating through the air. The colour palette Durieux has used for the whole composition with the added silver foil finish is quite spectacular when viewed in person. This fourteen-colour screen print is hand-numbered #9 from a very small print run of 25.
