Stock #43306

A record label used in the production of the incredible 1988 live action/animation crossover Who Framed Roger Rabbit? The film follows private dick Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins), an alcoholic with a grudge against “toons” who is hired to investigate Roger Rabbit (Charles Fleischer) and his toon wife Jessica (Kathleen Turner). When Roger goes off the rails and wakes up wanted for murder, Valiant must get to the bottom of the crimes and prove Roger’s innocence.

This label was created for use on vinyl records in the film playing the classic toon anthem "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down", which is played when Roger is doing his party piece at the bar and later as Valiant dispatches the weasels in front of Judge Doom (Christopher Lloyd), however ultimately went unused. The labels are printed on white paper with the logo for Maroon Records, run by R.K. Maroon (Alan Tilvern), the name of the song and the LP’s side and play speed written beneath.

Featuring some minor wear, the label remains in otherwise very good condition.
