WAS $595 / NOW $540

An animation cel used in Robert Zemeckis' neo-noir film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In this groundbreaking film, animation was blended with live action footage in order to produce a unique world where animated characters are real beings.

As computer technology was not yet able to produce the visuals needed, artists produced animations on acetate in relation to the completed live action shots. Next, technicians at Industrial Light and Magic added shadows, highlights, and tone mattes in order to make the animations adapt to the real-world lighting situations they were placed in. This cel features a hand-drawn image of Roger Rabbit looking disgusted.

Showing light signs of wear from use and storage, this cel is in overall good condition.
