An Alfred Hitchcock-signed letter to actress Maureen O'Hara. Featuring a letterhead from RKO Radio Pictures, the typed letter is dated July 11, 1940 and was written to O'Hara in the hopes of casting her as part of a charity film that would benefit the British War Charities and the American Community Chest. The letter is signed on the bottom right corner by the directors who were part of the project: Sir Cedric Hardwick, Victor Saville, Alfred Hitchcock, Henry Wilcox.
The letter consists of two pages, with botch showing signs of wear from storage and age, but the letter remains in good overall condition.
