Tucker: The Man And His Dream

Pewter Tucker Torpedo

Stock #63101

A pewter Tucker Torpedo crew gift from Francis Ford Coppola’s 1988 biopic, Tucker: The Man and His Dream. The film chronicles Preston Tucker’s (Jeff Bridges) struggles with the Big Three of the late 1940’s auto industry as he tries to launch “the car of tomorrow”: the Tucker Torpedo.

The model is constructed primarily of pewter and features a metal plate on its chassis with "Tucker" engraved in it. The model was likely made as a gift to be given out to crew members and production heads after production completed. The item does have some wear and tear including scratches and stains, but is in otherwise very good condition.
