A Trojan short sword from the production of Wolfgang Petersen’s 2004 adaptation of Homer’s great epic Troy.
After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history’s greatest wars will be waged.
This sword and others like it were used by Trojan warriors in their battles against the Greeks.
Made from rubber with a metal centre, the sword has been painted in a dark faux-bronze colour and then distressed to look more worn and the handle has been painted to look like wood. The blade of the sword features an engraved pattern as decoration. It shows signs of production wear and there is a small amount of rubber residue on the blade, however it otherwise remains in good condition.
Materials: Rubber, Ferrous Metals.
