An arrow used in Wolfgang Petersen's Iliad adaptation Troy. After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history's greatest wars will be waged.
This arrow and others like it were used by the Trojans during the beach assault, with this type of arrow used for special effects purposes involving fire arrows. The piece is made of wood with a rubber stopper and white fletching. Metal foil is wrapped around the shaft of the arrow where flaming material would be ignited to prevent it burning through the wood of the arrow.
Well used on the production and displaying some light wear including black marks where flames have tarnished the wood of the arrow. However, in spite of this wear, the arrow remains in an overall good production-used condition.
Please note that your piece may differ slightly from the item pictured.
