A Trojan crocodile skin shield from Wolfgang Petersen’s 2004 adaptation of Homer’s great epic Troy.
A crocodile skin shield is seen leaning against a wall in the Trojan armoury, and some Trojan soldiers held them when in battle with the Greeks. This wooden shield is covered on the front with faux crocodile skin, giving the appearance of being covered in leathery scales. It has a wooden handle on the reverse. It has some scuffing and scratches from production use but remains in an otherwise excellent condition.
Materials: Wood, Ferrous Metals, Man-Made Woven Fibres.
