Troy

Greek Warrior's Angled Sword

Stock #48024

A stunt sword used in Wolfgang Petersen’s adaptation of Homer’s great epic Troy. After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history’s greatest wars will be waged.

This sword and others like it can be seen in use by Greek warriors throughout the film as they descend upon Troy, eager for vengeance. Made of hard rubber with a soft rubber tip for stunt use, the angled blade of the sword has a ridged leading edge and floral decoration around the guard atop the grip. The entire sword has been made to appear as though it was made of worked bronze, with a dark paint finish to match.

Well used on the production, the sword remains in overall very good production-used condition.
