Troy

Arrows and Quiver

Stock #72039

An arrow and quiver used in Wolfgang Petersen's Iliad adaptation Troy. After falling for the beautiful Helen (Diane Kruger), Trojan prince Paris (Orlando Bloom) smuggles her aboard the ship of his brother, Hector (Eric Bana) to take her to Troy. Seeking revenge, the Greek armies led by Agamemnon (Brian Cox) and the legendary warrior Achilles (Brad Pitt) set sail for Troy, where one of history’s greatest wars will be waged.

This set of arrows and quiver, and others like it, were used by Trojans during the beach assault, as they fought to defend their city from the rampaging Greek horde. The quiver is made from a dark brown leather with a lighter brown leather shaped piece attached to one side. Featuring lacing detail, the quiver has an adjustable leather strap allowing it to be secured to the archer. Made of wood, the set of arrows feature black faux-feather fletching with thread wrapped round and a blunt end where the arrowhead would be attached. One of the arrows differs slightly and has been finished in a metallic faux-gold fletching.

Well used on the production, the quiver displays some minor marks to the leather and the arrows has some loose threads near the fletching. However, in spite of this wear, the set remains in an overall good production-used condition.
