A framed first class bread plate and knife used in James Cameron’s Oscar-winning epic, Titanic. One of the most successful movies of all time, Titanic tells the story of Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet), an engaged aristocrat sailing aboard the RMS Titanic on its fateful maiden voyage with her fiancé Caledon ‘Cal’ Hockley (Billy Zane), and her fortuitous meeting with steerage passenger Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio).
These pieces and others like them were used in the first class restaurant scenes, including the scenes where Jack and Rose have dinner together after Jack saves Rose’s life. Made especially for the production by the same company that made all the crockery for the original Titanic, the plate features a White Star Shipping Company decal at its centre. The knife also features the White Star logo, engraved at the base of the blade.

In fantastic production-used condition, the plate and knife have been custom framed to make an incredible display, mounted in a shadow box with a laser cut mount board and a movie poster. The frame measures 82cm x 55cm (32.5" x 22").
