An English helmet used in Richard Donner’s 2003 sci-fi adventure film Timeline.
Sent back in time, a group of students are caught between the French and English armies at the French village of Castlegard during the Hundred Years War and have to find a way to their own time – and change history in the process.
This helmet and others like it were worn by English soldiers when the young archaeology students ventured back to medieval France.
Made of hard plastic, the helmet is comprised of one inner helmet with a moving lower visor inside another wide brimmed helmet. The outer helmet has a leather band around the outside with rivets in the centre - both have been painted to look like metal and are decorated with painted leather emblems of crowns and leaves.
Displaying some minor wear, the helmet remains in very good condition.
Materials: Plastic, Artificial Leather.
