A throttle control from Thunderbird 1, used in the family adventure film Thunderbirds. With the Tracy family trapped on Thunderbird 5 following an attack by The Hood (Ben Kingsley), it is up to Alan (Brady Corbet), Fermat (Soren Fulton), Tintin (Vanessa Hudgens) and Lady Penelope (Sophia Myles) to bring The Hood and his thugs to justice before they can bring down International Rescue for good.
This throttle control formed part of the elaborate Thunderbird 1 cockpit seen in use by Alan and the gang in their pursuit of the Hood. The main body of the throttle control is made of fibreglass with wood and metal supports within. Two pairs of metal throttle control levers, made of machined aluminium, run down the middle of the column with lights and graphics on the unit. Fixtures and mounts are present at the top for the mounting of the cockpit’s dashboard with fixing points built into the controls’ base.

Displaying some wear from use and time spent in storage, this throttle control remains in overall good condition. The electronics on this particular piece remain untested.
