An ensemble helmet worn during the 1990 live concert performance of the Pink Floyd album The Wall, held to commemorate the fall of the Berlin Wall months earlier.
This helmet and others like it were seen worn by guardsmen during Roger Waters’ performance of ‘In The Flesh’. Made from black plastic, this military-style helmet has a faux leather peak and an adjustable chin strap. The interior of the helmet is padded with foam making it more comfortable for the performer to wear.
This piece display signs of wear, including scratches and marks to the exterior. However, the helmet remains in very good used condition.
