This lot will be auctioned on Thursday, June 23rd. Marlon Brando's kimono from Paramount Television Studios' drama series The Offer. The actor portraying Brando wore this kimono when producer Albert S. Ruddy, director Francis Ford Coppola and writer Mario Puzo came to his house to recruit him to join the cast of "The Godfather."

This salmon-color cotton and polyester blend boxed sleeve kimono comes directly from Paramount Television Studios. It features cream and blue decorative accents, an eggshell-color satin interior, and a decorative collar which is sewn into the shoulders. Also included is a black-and-white cardboard plaque featuring the series' title and a production-made hardcover copy of Puzo's book "The Godfather." The kimono exhibits minor staining added by production.
