An ancient Egyptian wall panel made for the production of Alex Kurtzman's 2017 film The Mummy, the first in Universal's 'Dark Universe' series.
An evil ancient Egyptian princess, Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella), is brought back to life and threatens humanity, so it's up to recently deceased soldier Nick Morton (Tom Cruise) to stop her.
This panel and others like it were made for the production of the ancient Egyptian sets seen early in the film, when Ahmanet first absorbed her evil powers. The panel is made of resin styled to resemble bronze and features a depiction of the Sun god Ra. The piece has been intentionally distressed to look aged – however, there are some additional markings and wear from production use, including a noticeable crack on the right side. The centre of the piece is hard foam with hard synthetic canvas board on the back.
Materials: Resin, Hard Foam, Synthetic Canvas Board.
