Count de Rochefort’s (Christopher Lee) tunic from Richard Lester’s sequel The Four Musketeers: Milady's Revenge. The four heroes participate in further valiant adventures, battling with Cardinal Richelieu (Charlton Heston) and his accomplice Milady de Winter (Faye Dunaway) who plan to wreak revenge after their plan to dishonour the queen was stopped.
Count de Rochefort wears his velvet tunic over his red velvet attire in multiple scenes throughout the film as he persistently attempts to capture his enemy D'Artagnan (Michael York), most notably during a scene where Rochefort duels with the four musketeers on an icy lake. Made from a dark red velvet, the tunic features a grey textured lining and various metallic buttons running down the front, the sides, sleeves and a small vent on the back. Hand stitching is visible on the lining neckline, indicating where a label may have previously been attached. The tunic displays some signs of wear including loose threads and some light marks on the left sleeve. However, the piece remains in very good production-used condition.
