A ape mask and suit from Carl Schenkel's adventure film Tarzan and the Lost City. Nigel Ravens (Steven Waddington) instructed his mercenaries to go hunting for the skin of an ape. However, the group were soon attacked and scared away by a group of apes led by John Clayton/Tarzan (Casper Van Dien). This particular ape design was sculpted by Miles Teves under the supervision of special effects artist Gary J. Tunnicliffe.

The lot consists of a latex face mask; a full body suit (labelled "Longface, Janine"); a pair of hands; and a pair of feet containing padded insoles. The mask has two eye holes and a set of discoloured fanged teeth. Dark brown hand-tied fur covers the suit, which features padded muscle sections on the back and the upper thighs. A foam-latex torso section adorns the front, and a zip runs down the back. The components exhibit signs of paint wear, and patches of fur have come away over time.
