A set of three original design sketches from the 1978 action packed film Superman: The Movie. The pages show the design for the rig designed for the scenes when Superman spins through the pavement into Lex Luther’s lair, these three designs were drawn in pencil by Paul Weston and was instrumental in creating one of the most memorable scenes in the film. The other four pages are production made copies of the design. The original three pages measures 33cm x 20cm (13” x 8”)
This set comes from the personal collection of Paul Weston, a stunt man and stunt coordinator in the first two Superman films as well as many other classic movies. Paul Weston was instrumental in designing and creating some of the revolutionary techniques and rigs for the legendary flying and acrobatic scenes for these Superman films.
