A set of production made design copies from the 1978 action packed film Superman: The Movie. Sent to Earth from his home planet of Krypton, Kal-el (Christopher Reeve) is raised by humans and grows to become the honest and true Clark Kent, while also taking on the identity of Superman to protect the people of Earth.

This set comes from the personal collection of Paul Weston, a stunt man and stunt coordinator in the first two Superman films as well as many other classic movies. Paul Weston was instrumental in designing and creating some of the revolutionary techniques and rigs for the legendary flying and acrobatic scenes for these Superman films.

The three A4 pages with the design for the 'Superman Flying and Krypton Falls' special effects were originally drawn in pencil by Paul Weston then copied for producers and HODs, and were instrumental in creating some of the spectacular flying scenes used in the film. Dated October 20 1977, the cover page features a memo from Paul Weston to some important members of the production explaining how this newest design could "attain some spectacular visual effects". The other pages are an identical set, and several other single copies of the designs inside the memo.

Displaying signs of natural production wear with some creasing and marks to some of the pages, the script pages remain in good condition.
