A set of storyboards from Richard Lester’s 1983 superhero sequel Superman III.
This set of storyboards features 29 printed storyboards detailing the sequence in which Superman (Christopher Reeve) clears up an oil spill from a tanker. The storyboards are printed on pink paper and bound between two card covers with a metal fastener. The title page says ‘Tanker Sequence’ and ‘Issued 5th July 1982’. The storyboards come from the collection of stunt performer and co-ordinator Paul Weston, whose name is handwritten on the back cover.
The storyboards have some wear from production use and age, including some minor creasing and rust on the metal fastener. The front cover is slightly loose, but overall the collection remains in an excellent, production-used condition.
Materials: Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
