A pair of storyboards used in the production of Superman III. When computer expert Gus Gorman (Richard Pryor) is forced to synthesise a form of Kryptonite using tar as an additional element, Superman (Christopher Reeve) is torn in two, consumed by his own dark desires, selfishness and greed. Can he overcome the effects of the Kryptonite, bring down the villainous multimillionaire Ross Webster (Robert Vaughn) and save the world again?
These storyboards were used to help visualise the action taking place during the credits sequence as a series of mishaps wreaks havoc in downtown Metropolis, only to be set right by Superman. These storyboards show Superman rolling back a crashed car and pushing a fire hydrant back into the ground to stop water pouring into the street, a scene ultimate cut from the sequence. The storyboards are production copies printed on white A4 paper with details of the film's title above and notes on the scene written beneath.

Lightly used on the production, the storyboards remain in very good condition.
