A set of original design sketches and production made copies from the 1978 action packed film Superman: The Movie. The pages show the design for the 'Weston Flying System'. These four pages of designs were drawn in pen by Paul Weston and were instrumental in creating many of the memorable flying scenes in the film. The additional four pages are production made copies of the design. The largest of the original five pages measures 33cm x 25cm (13" x 10")
This set comes from the personal collection of Paul Weston, a stunt man and stunt coordinator in the first two Superman films as well as many other classic movies. Paul Weston was instrumental in designing and creating some of the revolutionary techniques and rigs for the legendary flying and acrobatic scenes for these Superman films.
