Stripes

Revised Final Script

Stock #97801

“The name's Francis Soyer, but everybody calls me Psycho. Any of you guys call me Francis, and I'll kill you”

A revised final script from Ivan Reitman’s military comedy film Stripes.

Luckless cabbie John Winger (Bill Murray) convinces his close pal Russell Ziskey (Harold Ramis) to enlist in the U.S. Army. Barely making it through the basic training, Winger soon finds himself becoming the unofficial leader of a group of army misfits.

Held together by two brass butterfly fasteners, the script is bound within a blue card cover and is labelled as a revised final script. The first page of the document states that "Stripes" was the working title for the production. Credited to Len Blum, Dan Goldberg and Ivan Reitman, the script is dated “October 28 1980” and consists of 122 pages printed on white US letter paper. The pages are unannotated, and the revised sections of the script are labelled at the top with their corresponding dates. The blue card cover displays marks, minor crease lines and light wear from use on production. However, in spite of this wear the script remains in very good condition.

Materials: Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
