A full-size Arachnid Warrior jaw from Paul Verhoeven's sci-fi satire Starship Troopers. Warrior Bugs used their monstrous dual-pincer jaws to consume Mobile Infantrymen throughout the film.

This lot comes from the collection of creature visual effects supervisor Phil Tippett, who constructed the full-size versions of the Bugs and ultimately earned an Academy Award® nomination for his work. This fiberglass jaw is hand-painted black with red-yellow stripes and moulded around a steel rod for affixing to the Bug's body. It exhibits extensive battle-damage, including a broken prong at the back, as well as exposed fiberglass, scuffed paint, and applied grime throughout from production.
