Jaffa Ceremonial Fighting Stick

This is a Jaffa ceremonial fighting stick used in the popular science fiction series Stargate SG-1. Used in Season 10 Episode 17: "Talion" near the end of the episode when Teal'c confronts, and fights Arkad. While Teal'c uses a plain and straight pole to fight, Arkad uses this curved fighting stick. Towards the end of the fight scene it is revealed that the fighting stick is actually a sword, and is used to stab Teal'c. This version of the fighting stick does not have a concealed sword, it is made of hardcast plastic painted black. There are golden lines of paint wrapping around the stick in a swirling design, and on either end, there are Jaffa symbols written in the same gold paint. The stick measures approximately 61.5" x 2" (156cm x 5cm) and is in good condition with visual wear to the rubber and paint due to its intense use in the fight sequence. This piece includes a Certificate of Authenticity from MGM Studios. Actual stick received may vary slightly in wear and paint from the one photographed.
