An unfinished Ewok face mask from the production of Richard Marquand's 1983 sci-fi fantasy sequel Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.

Ewoks were little bear-like creatures on the forest moon of Endor who assisted the Rebels in their fight against the Empire. The mask is an unfinished, foam-latex mask. It has not been painted and the eyes, mouth and nostrils have not been cut out.

The latex around the edges has become discoloured and flaky, and there are several small tears where the mask has folded and dried. Considering the age of the piece however, it remains in an excellent condition.
