An unfinished Ewok face, ears and eyes from the production of Richard Marquand's 1983 sci-fi fantasy sequel Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi.
Ewoks were little bear-like creatures on the forest moon of Endor who assisted the Rebels in their fight against the Empire. The mask is an unfinished, foam-latex mask and has not been painted. The ears are foam rubber and the eyes, which are not cut out, are made of clear acrylic.
The latex around the edges has become discoloured and flaky, with the latex generally taking on a sticky sheen, and there are several small tears where the mask has folded and dried. Considering the age of the piece, however, it remains in fair condition.
Materials: Foam Latex, Acrylic.
