A signed replica Boba Fett’s (Jeremy Bulloch) Mandalorian helmet from Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. Unscrupulous Fett was the man who tracked down Han Solo (Harrison Ford) for Darth Vader (David Prowse) and Jabba the Hutt, and is renowned as one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy.
Created by the legendary Don Post Studios, this full-size helmet was part of their “deluxe” range, created to accurately reproduce the on-screen appearance of everything from lowly stormtroopers to main characters like R2-D2 and C-3PO. Don Post pieces were highly valued for their accuracy, with some of the range used for promotional purposes by Lucasfilm at various locations worldwide.
Made of fibreglass with a padded liner, this stunning helmet has been painted to replicate the look of Boba Fett’s helmet as seen in The Empire Strikes Back, with weathering and detail that give it a stunningly accurate finish. To the right of the smoke-tinted visor is a movable arm with Fett’s signature sight at the end.
The helmet is signed at the back in gold pen by Jeremy Bulloch, who portrayed the bounty hunter in both of his on-screen appearances in the original trilogy. Made as part of a limited run of 750 helmets, this is numbered 197.
A fantastic and rare piece, the helmet is in excellent condition.
Materials: Fibreglass, Ferrous Metals.
