A set of reference photographs used in the production of George Lucas' Star Wars trilogy.
Acquired from the collection of esteemed special effects artist Stuart Freeborn, these photographs formed part of a larger archive filled with references detailing the various creatures created for the Star Wars trilogy.
These photographs shows a mask for the alien M'iiyoom Onith, also known as 'Yam Nose' on set, a creature seen in the famed Mos Eisley cantina. The mask is presented on a wooden base in the stills, which show the mask from the front, left side and rear. A label marked '52' on white - signifying A New Hope in their labelling system for the photographs - is sat at the bottom of the base.
Three photographs in all, the set remains in very good condition and is supplied in their original plastic storage wallet.
