An original pen and watercolour drawing by John Mollo, costume designer on George Lucas’ 1977 space opera Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

The Imperial Forces hold Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) hostage, in their efforts to quell the rebellion against the Galactic Empire. Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Han Solo (Harrison Ford), captain of the Millennium Falcon, band together with R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) to rescue her.

This drawing is watercolour, outlined with pen, on thick cream-coloured card. It shows Luke Skywalker, his costume and gun in full-length. This item is in excellent condition, with no visible signs of age or storage.
