Star Trek: The Next Generation

Kes Aide Costume

Stock #93019

"There is a way out of every box, a solution to every puzzle; it's just a matter of finding it."

A Kes aide’s costume from the cult sci-fi series Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994).

Set almost 100 years after Captain Kirk's (William Shatner) five-year mission, a new generation of Starfleet officers set off, led by Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) in the U.S.S. Enterprise-D on their own mission to go where no one has gone before.

The costume consists of a blue feather and chequered pattern jacket with a handwritten label reading “Brian George”, a cream cotton shirt with a handwritten label reading “Miss L. Tripett” and a pair of blue chequered trousers with a handwritten label reading “Brian George”. Each piece includes a tag that reads “Deep Space Nine” as most costumes were recycled from previous series. The costume is seen in season seven episode eight entitled “Attached” and later was worn by Richard Bashir (Brian George) in Deep Space Nine season five episode sixteen entitled “Doctor Bashir, I Presume”.

The costume shows minimal signs of wear from production use, the fabric has aged slightly but remains in an otherwise very good condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals, Elastic.
