Star Trek: The Next Generation

Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis) Off-Duty Costume

Stock #92773

"It pulses unendingly all through the night. Seek out the crystal that powers our flight. - What the future holds, no one can know, but forward we look, and forward we go."

Deanna Troi’s (Marina Sirtis) off-duty costume from the Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987 – 1994) episode ‘Second Chances’, episode 24 of season 6.

Set almost 100 years after the original series, a new generation of Starfleet officers set off across the galaxy to go where no-one has gone before.

Troi wears her off-duty outfit while Dr. Crusher (Gates McFadden) and her sit in the bar on the Enterprise and watch Commander Riker (Jonathan Frakes) place the trombone with a band.

This costume consists of a top and skirt, both in a pearlescent purple. The items have intentional flecking as part of the pattern. They feature metal zips to do up the clothes. As the items were specially made for the production they do not feature any sizing labels, but both pieces have labels from the production of Star Trek: Enterprise, as they were recycled and used on the Enterprise episode ‘Two Days and Two Nights’. The name of actor ‘Heidi Franz’ has been handwritten on the label and she played a bar patron in the episode.

The piece has some wear from production use and age, including some minor plucking to the weave in addition to the intentional flecking. The costume remains in an otherwise excellent condition.

Materials: Man-Made Woven Fibres, Ferrous Metals.
